After an amazing 3 weeks of tennis, Rafa Nadal, the newly-crowned Montecarlo, Barcelona and Rome Masters Series champion, has come back home -to his beloved island of Mallorca- carrying one of those big smiles that are simply too difficult to wipe off a face.
The World No.1 arrived yesterday in Manacor with the great satisfaction of knowing that he had achieved more than he had hoped for at the beginning of the clay season and also aware that “everything that is happening [at the moment] is simply incredible.”
It is thanks to the dedication and hard work delivered by the champion that he can now enjoy a much deserved break (in the company of his family and friends) before he travels to Madrid on Thursday morning.
During his stay in Madrid, these are some of the things Rafa will be doing:
Thursday: Nike promotional event
Friday: Launch of a new BANESTO’s campaign
Saturday: First official Madrid Masters Series press conference for the world media.
