The best clay court tennis player of all time Rafael Nadal is continuing to train on his favorite surface for the coming clay court season and recently he practiced with world number 625 Federico Zeballos of Bolivia.
Nadal uploaded a picture on his facebook page, in which he could be seen serving at Zeballos from the farther side of the court.
The Spaniard wrote this caption under the photo, “One more day practicing with Federico Zeballos, from Bolivia!”
Nadal specially wrote “from Bolivia” after mentioning the name Zeballos, so that readers don’t confuse this Zeballos with Horacio Zeballos, who stunned the former world number one in the final of the Chile Open in February.
This Zeballos hasn’t won any title in his career so far, rather, he had won only one tour level match in his career yet. However, the 11-time Grand Slam champion Nadal happily practiced with him and even uploaded the picture on his facebook page.
Nadal will start his clay season campaign at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, which starts from February 14. The former world number one will be bidding to win his record ninth straight title there. Let alone open era, none of the tennis players in the history of the sport has managed to win any tournament so many times consecutively.
