Two-time Wimbledon Champion Rafael Nadal
has been working hard on grass courts to lift the third Wimbledon
Championship here in All England Club.
World No. 2 Nadal has posted a message
on his Facebook wall that, he has been training along with Swiss second
seed Stanislas Wawrinka in All England Club. Spanish star will return
back to action in Wimbledon on Tuesday, where he will take on Thomaz
Bellucci of Brazil in the Wimbledon Championship opening round.
26-year-old Nadal is eyeing to win the
third Wimbledon Championship, where he won previous titles in
2008 and 2010. Spanish star hopes to win the 12th Grand Slam of his
career, ahead of his best rival World No. 3 Roger Federer with 16,
American tennis great with 14 and Roy Emerson with 12. Nadal said it’s
going to be big challenge for him to Wimbledon Championship, where his
rivals Federer and defending champion Djokovic are also considered to
huge favorites.
King of Clay Nadal said he is having
fewer chances to win the Wimbledon crown for third time, but he is going
to play hard to give tough challenge to his opponents. Spaniard has
been preparing well for the first matches and trying to win the
Wimbledon Opening round match against Thomaz Bellucci on Tuesday.
Former World No. 1 Nadal has appeared in
the Wimbledon final for five time, winning in 2008 against Federer and
2010 against Tomas Berdych, meanwhile lost in 2006 and 2007 to Federer
and 2011 final to Djokovic.
