Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, the greatest players of all time in tennis history are placed in the top 10 Tennis Channels list of over-all tennis greats.
Former World No. 1 Roger Federer stands at top spot in the Top 100 tennis players of all time in tennis history, released on Friday evening by Tennis Channel. Swiss tennis champion has surpassed former tennis legends Rod Laver No. 2, Steffi Graf No. 3, Martina Navratilova No. 4 and 14-time Grand Slam holder Pete Sampras No. 5 in the top 10 list.
World No. 3 Federer has named greatest player of all-time in tennis era, who has clinched 16-time Grand Slam championships so far and appeared in 18 of 19 finals from the 2005 Wimbledon Championships to 2010 Australian Open. Swiss star also holds for a record 237 consecutive weeks at No. 1 spot and 285 weeks overall in the ATP Rankings, where he is just two weeks away to break Pete Sampras record of 286 weeks.
10-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is the active players to hold place at No. 6 in the top ten. The other active players are listed 13-time singles major title holder Serena Williams at No. 14 and her elder sister Venus Williams No. 22, Novak Djokovic No. 40, Kim Clijsters No. 45, Lleyton Hewitt No. 63, Maria Sharapova No. 71 and Andy Roddick No. 94.
