Only a few hours left before Rafa Nadal boards a plane to London and starts training for the third and most prestigious Grand Slam of all: Wimbledon.
The Roland Garros champ has packed his bags and is ready to begin his preparation on the Wimbledon grass at midday on Wednesday before he heads to his house (the one he always rents and which is close to the tournament venue) to watch Spain debut against Switzerland in the World Cup.
Rafa arrives in London as the number 1 player in the world and will be trying to re-claim the title he won back in 2008. He is likely to maintain his position at the top of the rankings for a while given that he missed the tournament last year due to an injury, while Roger Federer won the title and will be defending all of his points.
The main draw will be revealed on Friday.
